Dr. Hussein Eissa is Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs. A professor of accounting, he served as President of Ain Shams University from 2012 to 2016 and then chaired the Planning and Budget Committee of the House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. He holds a PhD in accounting from United States International University in San Diego.
